The master of love story once again pleases fans of his work with a black and white picture about the life and hobbies of ordinary French people. Plot
The hero of the picture is a young man named Luke. He lives in a provincial French town and is engaged in carpentry with his father. The guy has a girlfriend, Genevieve, who is determined to marry him.
One day Luke goes to Paris to pass exams at the main carpentry school in the country. During a short stay in the capital, the young man starts an affair with the charming Jamila. But the relationship does not last long, since the guy needs to return to his hometown. Arriving home, the hero, as if nothing had happened, continues to meet with Genevieve, who soon finds herself in a position.
When the time comes to go to school, the young man, without hesitation, leaves and leaves his pregnant girlfriend. And in Paris, with a light heart, he starts another romance. The new passion turns out to match Luke. She simultaneously meets with several guys and is not at all embarrassed by this state of affairs.
