Season 5 plot
The series follows the adventures of Uhtred of Bebbanburg, a fierce Saxon-born warrior who grew up among Vikings in 9th and 10th century England. Uhtred becomes an ally of King Alfred of Wessex and his family, as the ruler seeks to unite all the kingdoms of England so that the Vikings do not ravage the country.
From the fifth and ninth books, The Warriors of the Storm and Keeper of the Fire, in Season 5, Uhtred will understand that his fate is not just Bebbanburg: he is connected with the future of England itself. The main character will have to fight his worst enemy and suffer the greatest losses.
In the fourth season, Uhtred tried to reclaim his ancestral lands, but the mission did not go according to plan and cost his friend the life. There is no doubt that he will want to avenge this death and, finally, take back what is rightfully his.
