The historical film "Septet: A History of Hong Kong" was included in the list of films of the 73rd International Cannes Film Festival, which was supposed to open on May 12, 2020. From 22 to 26 June 2020, the event took place online, becoming a virtual version of the Cannes Film Festival. The Septet: A History of Hong Kong is a seven-part anthology omnibus film with selected novels by directors Anne Hué, Johnny To, Tsui Harka, Sammo Hung, Yuen Wu-Ping and Patrick Tam. It focuses on the history of Hong Kong from the 1940s to the present day. The trailer has not yet been released, but the film is expected to be shown in 2020. In 2021, perhaps this movie will reach cinemas.
