- Original name: Silk
- Country: USA
- World premiere: 2022
Rumors about the project about the superhero Silk have been circulating for a long time, since 2018. Sony tried to create their "Spider-Man Universe" through a series of villainous films and female images. The studio is currently in talks with screenwriter Lauren Moon to create an entire series with executive producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. They signed a long-term agreement with Sony, specifically to help produce content for "Spidey" (a comic-book series from Marvel Comics), and this is the first agreement under that partnership. It looks like Silk has been given the green light and we can start talking about a possible release date and a long-awaited trailer in 2021.
Silk's alter ego is Cindy Moon, a Korean American who was bitten by the same spider as Peter Parker.
Plot
The Asian-American superhero Silk is best known for her comics in the Spider-Man universe. Her real name is Cindy Moon. Like Peter Parker, she was bitten by a radioactive spider, after which she received similar superpowers, but with some differences, such as a spider web tearing out of her fingers and an altered spider sense.
