Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan returns to the comic universe to produce Static Shock, based on the DC Comics and Milestone Comics character. The Static Shock project was first introduced at DC FanDome in August 2020. Release date and trailer are expected in 2021.
Plot
The comic follows high school student Virgil Hawkins transforming into Static, an electromagnetic superhero after being exposed to a strange gas.
