Plot
In the original film, viewers saw the peaceful life of the people of Seoul turning into a waking nightmare. Suddenly an unknown virus hits the country. The moment of infection overtakes the main character of the film and his daughter on the train, when both are heading to Busan. Here they had to fight for their own survival for 442 kilometers on the way ...
According to the creators, they do not plan to use the characters from the original picture. In the new part, we will be shown how some of the surviving residents will get out of the epidemic-ridden Korean Peninsula.

The sequel was directed by Yong San-Ho ("Seoul Station", "Telekinesis"), who also directed "Train to Busan". He also co-wrote the film with Park Chu-Sok ("Hwai", "Train to Busan").

The filming process of the tape began on June 24, 2019. The exact date of the release in Russia of the film "Peninsula" (2020), which became a continuation of the project "Train to Busan", is still unknown.
