Plot
A young Jew from New York suffers from a sense of guilt: once in the past, he failed to defend his younger brother from anti-Semitic Gopniks. The trauma of another hero, whose face the viewer does not see, is even more terrible: during the war, the Nazis forced him to kill his own beloved. At one point, these two meet. The older one lies in a coffin and is covered with a sheet. And the one who is younger must perform a certain Jewish ritual, spending one night with the corpse, while driving away evil spirits from the body.
