The series is set in Yaroslavl one year after the October Revolution. A romantic storyline awaits the audience - a love triangle with the participation of a merchant's daughter, a white officer and a Bolshevik.
Plot
1921 year. The merchant's daughter Liza Zhuravleva is detained by the Chekists and accused of preparing a rebellion in Yaroslavl. Investigator Voronov puts pressure on the sickest, because in order to save her own little son, Lisa will definitely tell the whole truth. During interrogation, she tells a love story during the epoch-making events of the turbulent time of the civil war. Zhuravleva's story throws Voronov into shock, forcing him to completely rethink his idea of a bloody revolution and justice.
According to history, in the summer of 1918 in Yaroslavl, the White Guard Union for the Defense of the Motherland and Freedom of Boris Savinkov initiated an armed rebellion against the power of the Bolsheviks. At the same time, uprisings began in July in Murom and Rybinsk, but they were quickly suppressed (already on July 9), which cannot be said about Yaroslavl. The rebels of Yaroslavl managed to capture most of the city and persuade the police and even the Special Forces Armored Division under the Council of People's Commissars to go over to their side. However, on July 21, the rebellion was still suppressed, after which the "bloody terror" and repression began.
