About the plot

One of the stories included in the series is called "Intergirl". According to the plot of the book, an already middle-aged widowed Italian meets a young, seemingly modest and very charming girl, and they begin an affair. His beloved refused any financial help, although life was not easy, the girl's grandmother was very sick. At one point, a man comes to St. Petersburg to help his beloved with an operation for a relative. Together they reach the hospital, he gives the money, and the girl goes to the cashier to pay. Three hours later, he learns that there has never been such a department in the hospital, but the girls are gone.
