A film from the category "Acid". Someone, perhaps, does not understand such a definition, but this is what I call such works. Next, I will try to explain this selection of words.
From the very first shots, it becomes clear that the picture is ambiguous, difficult, and at the end, clarification may be required. So it turned out, I did not recognize Defoe's personality, I had to "google". In short, the film is about the relationship between God and man. In the role of God, and more specifically Proteus, the brilliant Willem Dafoe starred, and the role of man was Prometheus, who opened up for me in a new way and in a better light, as an actor - Robert Pattinson.
The picture is ambiguous, asking a lot of questions, but at the same time enveloping with its unique chemistry. Filming is simply mesmerizing, as if the horrors from the sixties returned to the theaters. Enjoyed the camera work, acting really amazing. But there are some "buts" that I would like to note. Some scenes simply dropped out, it became boring, but on the next scene you were again addicted. I don't know how to explain this, maybe I'm the only one, or maybe I'm just finding fault.
In any case, this work will want to be revised again after some time. Usually such films for me on the second or third viewing are opened in a new way, you will hate some moments, on the contrary, you will love some.
