Plot
The main character of the cartoon is an ordinary guy named Baam. To help his friend Rachel, he follows her to the very Tower of God - a terrible and mystical structure with its secrets and skeletons in closets. But if you manage to overcome a hundred floors and cope with adversity that will await you on the way, you can make any wish come true as a reward.
However, not everything is so simple, the Tower itself chooses a worthy start on this exciting path, but it is very rare to appear and those who themselves can open the door, they are called - Illegal.
Each level of the Tower looks like a small world, with its own storyline, some of them contain entire oceans. The author gradually acquaints us with different races, with their peculiarities and oddities. Some of them are more technological, others are fantasy. The appearance and the number of characters are somewhat reminiscent of the notorious Star Wars movie.
The local world is presented as rather cruel and unfair. Most trials are quite capable of ending with the death of the adventurer. Any person present in the future can become your friend or enemy. There is an atmosphere of mistrust in the air, everyone seeks to snatch their own, prudently use the opponent and win on it.
What will Baam be like, will he be able to fight against the world? Or will he betray his principles and play according to the "law of the jungle"?
Production
The production committee for the SIU manhwa anime series "Tower of God" has announced that cooperation agreements have been signed with Aniplex's studio Rialto Entertainment.
The premiere will take place in the spring of 2020 simultaneously in Japan, South Korea and the United States. The exact release date is still unknown. But in early 2020, at an event in Chicago C2E2, the names of the crew were revealed:
