Plot
The events of the picture unfold in the 80s of the last century. For business reasons, Rory, an ambitious and quick-witted businessman, decides to move his family from democratic America to his homeland, to conservative England. The man is sure that in the rapidly developing London he will be able to grab luck by the tail and get rich. But his plans are not destined to come true.
While Rory is trying to conquer the business world of the British capital, his relatives vegetate in the English wilderness in a house that has long fallen into disrepair. Allison, the main character of the 2020 movie, tries to build a family nest in a new place, but feels like she's trapped in some kind of trap, a sect away from the world.
In such difficult conditions, a woman begins to think about the prospects for further existence and clearly sees that unpleasant truths are hidden under the beautiful wrapper of a family union. A once-successful marriage begins to burst at the seams.
