"V-2. Escape from Hell ”is the story of the life and feat of pilot Mikhail Devyatayev, who was captured during the Great Patriotic War. The Soviet pilot showed true courage and resilience, thanks to which he managed to break out of the enemy's encirclement. The author of the idea for the film is Timur Bekmambetov. The picture was planned to be released on the day of the 75th anniversary of the feat of the Mordovian pilot - in 2020. Until the trailer for the movie “V-2. Escape from Hell "(2020), release date is expected in 2021, filming has already begun, the cast and plot of the war drama are known. The main role is played by Pavel Priluchny. The film is being shot with the support of Bazelevs Production, Voenfilm and the mobile operator MTS. During the period of general quarantine, creativity and new technologies help on filming.

About the plot
The story of the pilot Mikhail Devyatayev, who, during the Great Patriotic War, escaped from Nazi captivity on a hijacked plane, taking with him the enemy's secret weapon - developments under the FAU 2 program.
Mikhail Devyatayev was an ordinary guy who dreamed of conquering heaven. He returned from the army, entered the aviation school, received a diploma and went to war. Devyatayev took part in the battle near Lvov in 1944, where on July 13 he was shot down in an air battle, taken prisoner and sent to a concentration camp on the island of Usedom in Germany. But the hero did not lose heart in captivity - he managed to collect 10 prisoners, get free together and capture the German bomber "Heinkel He 111 H-22". Then, on February 8, the prisoners of war escaped on it.
Devyatayev and his comrades managed to get to the Soviet units and make an emergency landing after being fired upon by anti-aircraft guns. Over time, thanks to the information provided by the Devyatayev group, the allied forces completely destroyed the secret facilities of the German army, depriving the enemy of the last hope of victory.
