Great news for fans of historical detectives! In 2020, the Russian TV series "Voskresensky" will be released on Channel One, the exact release date of the series has not yet been announced. Series after series, Voskresensky proves that real killers are behind the crimes, and not otherworldly forces and mysticism, as it might seem at first glance.
About the plot
St. Petersburg, 1910, early 20th century. Time of technological progress and scientific breakthroughs, but human nature does not want to change in unison with progress - people continue to commit crimes and kill each other, sometimes even by the most sophisticated and terrible methods. Fingerprinting has already appeared, and every time the metropolitan police cannot solve another terrible murder, the surgery luminary of that time, the 40-year-old professor Voskresensky, comes to their aid. He has to investigate the most mysterious, frightening, inexplicable and terrible crimes, and he bravely takes on every case.
Voskresensky proves that ordinary people are behind seemingly inexplicable crimes who cannot cope with the dark side of their aspirations and desires. Human nature never ceases to disappoint.
