Bijuu birth
Biju history
The history of the Bijuu began long before the appearance of the shinobi. After Princess Kaguya was sealed by her sons, the eldest son of Otsutsuki Hagoromo placed a Jubi in himself, ruled by his mother. But in order to maintain the balance of power in the world, Hagoromo decided to divide the monster into nine chakras, which he gave the names and appearance of beasts.
The sage scattered animals all over the world in order not to recreate the monster Jubi. This is how Biju appeared - big tailed beasts with powerful chakra.
The chakra of animals is divided into black and white, which corresponds to Yin and Yang. An example of such a chakra is well shown on the tail of the Biju Kurama. The black half was sealed in Minato, and the light half was sealed in Naruto.
Each Bijuu has its own specific number of tails, which are indicators of chakra and strength in an animal. The tailed people were nicknamed Yoma (demons) because they feared their destructive power.

Humanity wanted to control the Bijuu and use their chakra. After many years, shinobi still learned to seal animals into people who were called jinchuriks.

The beast can control its jinchūriki while it sleeps. In the anime, Gaara suffered from insomnia.

For a long time, Madara, using his Sharingan, controlled and summoned Kurama for his own purposes. After defeating the Uchiha, Hashirama sealed the Kyuubi in Uzumaki Mito.
Thus, the fox came to hate people. Being sealed in Naruto, Kurama tried with all his might to convey to the young man all his negativity, which he had accumulated for many years. After a while, Uzumaki Naruto was able to convince the tailed beast, showing by his example that not all people are bad.
The youngster made a promise to the fox that he would free him from hatred, and over time he kept his word. Kurama not only made friends with Naruto, but also helped him, shared his chakra, participated with him in great battles, recognized him as the most powerful shinobi.
