The family comedy "Difficult Child" was released back in 1990 and immediately won the hearts of millions of viewers. Not all children are equally cute - many knew this truth even before the release of the film, but Dennis Dugan was able to fully prove it in his film. The project was so popular that a year later a sequel to the comedy was released, however, the second part did not have much success among the audience. We decided to write about Problem Child 1990 - about actors and children then and now, and also show their photos.
Michael Oliver - Junior
- "Platypus Man"
- Dillinger and Capone
- "Drexel's class"
Many fans of the comedy genre are interested in the life of the leading actor before and after the project. Michael's career began at the age of two with filming in commercials. Perhaps Oliver could have become a successful actor, if not for the greed of his mother - after the success of "Difficult Child", Michael's mother asked to increase the boy's fee several times.
The studio made concessions, but after the second part of the project did not pay off at the box office, it charged a large sum from the parents of the young actor. As a result, the Oliver family had to sell their own house in order to pay the producers money. Michael starred in several more films and decided to end his film career for good. He is married and works as a technician in several bands.
Ivyann Schwan - Trixie
- "Parents"
- "Difficult child 2"
We decided to tell you who the young actors who played in the film "Difficult Child" became. Ivianne took part in the second part of the project, playing the role of the protagonist's girlfriend. After filming the comedy, Schwan was offered only roles in commercials. When the girl grew up, she completely concentrated on her musical career. In 2012, Schwan gave birth to a child.
John Ritter - Ben Healy
- Sharpened Blade
- "Bad Santa"
- "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
The role of Junior's adoptive father went to John Ritter. By that time, the actor was already very popular thanks to the film "It" and the TV series "Three is a company". The film "Difficult Child" greatly influenced his personal life - on the set he fell in love with his comedy partner, Amy Yasbeck.
In 1998, the couple had a daughter, and in 1999 they officially legalized their relationship. The actor died in 2003 - he complained of heart pains on the set of "8 Simple Rules for a Friend of My Teenage Daughter" and on the same day he died of aortic dissection.
Amy Yasbeck - Flo Healy
- "Pretty Little Liars"
- "Beautiful girl"
- "Worst week of my life"
Especially for those who are interested in where the actors who starred in the popular comedy of the 90s work, we tell you - Amy Yasbek first continued her acting career, but then changed her occupation. The fact is that the woman was very upset about the death of her husband. She tried to sue the doctors in whose arms John died, and then decided to devote herself entirely to charity. Yasbeck created the John Ritter Charitable Foundation to help people with heart disease.
Gilbert Gottfried - Mr. Peabody
- "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel"
- Mr. Bump's Nightlife
- "Herman's Head"
In Part 1 of Problem Child, Gilbert had a very important role as adoption agent, Mr. Peabody. Despite the fact that now Gottfried's filmography includes more than two hundred paintings, many of them can hardly be called successful. In 1991, Gilbert received an anti-Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actor in The Adventures of Ford Ferlaine. Also, Gottfried is in the TOP-100 of the most non-sexual men in the world.
Jack Warden - Big Ben Healy
- "12 angry men"
- "Justice for all"
- "Death on the Nile"
The actor played in both the 1st and 2nd parts of the comedy Big Ben Healy. Warden was at the height of his popularity in the 70s of the last century. He was twice nominated for an Oscar for Shampoo and Heaven Can Wait. In the 90s, he mainly got the roles of grandfathers, and in 2000, Jack even announced the termination of his acting career due to rapidly deteriorating health. He died in 2006 at the age of 85.
Michael Richards - Mortin Back
- "David Copperfield"
- Seinfeld
- Miami Police: Department of Morals
Our photo review of the 1990 film Problem Child, about actors and children, then and now, ends by Michael Richards. A real moment of fame for him was shooting in the TV series "Seinfeld", where Richards played Cosmo Kramer. For this role, he was nominated for an Emmy several times. During his long film career, Michael managed to try himself as a screenwriter and director. Now he is already 71 years old, and he practically does not appear in new projects.
