In the new remake of the fantastic cartoon, the famous American football player Flash Gordon and the beautiful Dale Arden turn out to be unwitting participants in the experiment of a little crazy scientist Hans Zharkov. All three travel to the planet Mongo, ruled by the cruel and evil Ming the Merciless. Flash, Dale and Zharkov soon team up with the planet's resistance movement to overthrow Ming and restore peace to the planet. While the actors and the release date of the new cartoon "Flash Gordon" are unknown, there is no information about the trailer, only the plot is known. Inventive director Taika Waititi will write the script and possibly take over as director of the project.
