Plot
1926 While touring to promote his latest film, The Sheikh's Son, Rudolph Valentino, the silent screen movie star and Hollywood's first sex symbol, suddenly faints. He is hospitalized in a New York hospital.
He is known as the "Great Lover". On the screen, he embodies the images of strong and courageous sheikhs, bringing the female audience to hysteria. Millions of fans around the world go to his films, as if on a date with him in cinemas. But at the same time, his personal life is a complete failure. The "sheikh" cannot even satisfy his own bossy wife.
After an emergency operation, Valentino loses control of reality and falls into a dying coma, hallucinating, reliving his life in Hollywood. But, returning to reality, Valentino is forgotten by everyone, alone and afflicted with illness. He was abandoned by his wife and friends. Now Valentino is doomed to slowly die in total loneliness. From time to time, regaining consciousness, he communicates with a deaf-mute nurse - his old fan, who is on duty at his bedside for days. Before dying, Valentino finally gets answers to important questions that have tormented him all his life.
