Plot
The tape tells about the real events of 1968 in Chicago. The unsanctioned anti-Vietnamese "carnival" that interrupted the Democratic Party convention resulted in a clash with the police. The demonstrators threw stones at the policemen and received tear gas responses.

- There were seven defendants in the Chicago Seven: Abby Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, David Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Rennie Davis, John Fruns and Lee Weiner. They were all charged with conspiracy, instigation of riot and other activities related to the protests that took place in Chicago, Illinois, on the occasion of the 1968 Democratic convention. Bobby Seal, the eighth defendant, dropped out of trial during the trial, dropping the number from eight to seven.
