Director P. Osborne tried his hand at a short Disney project and for several years has been carrying a full-fledged brainchild in the anime genre. The rights to the film adaptation of the comic were immediately bought out by the leader of the animation industry and approved Osborne as the "conductor" of the whole process. And now the first grains of information about the cartoon "Nimona" appeared: without the approved actors and a trailer, they designated the release date for 2022.

The plot and character of Nimona are borrowed from the author of the comic book of the same name (by the way, at that time, also a debutant in this genre) Noel Stevenson. The book version of Nimon was released in 2015.

Plans for the development of anime appeared back in 2016, but sometimes it takes much longer to create an animated product than to create a feature film or series.
Patrick Osborne was inspired after reading the work of Noel Stevenson, who also ended up on the project's writing team. The film rights to Nimon were acquired in 2015, immediately after the release of Noel's comic strip. Not surprisingly, these were the guys from Fox Animation, the temple of Hollywood animation.
