The rumors circulating around the film "Kolovrat: The Road to Immortality" (without a specific exact date of release) turned into a plot of the film: without actors and a trailer, the Kolovrat project was filmed by a richer and more famous studio with a different director and a completely different script. So, they wanted to make a picture "On the ruin of Ryazan", but found ourselves in the place of that very Ryazan under the yoke of the Mongol khan.

Plot
Ruined Ryazan lands by the Mongol horde of Batu Khan. In the center of the plot is the great Russian hero Evpatiy Kolovrat. As a real Russian warrior, he does not intend to put up with the fact that his lands are being robbed. The hero plans to gather at least a small, but a fighting squad, ready to go to the mortal battle. He will not rest until he uses all possible options to conquer the enemy.

“Other directors (I. Shurkhovetsky and D. Fayziev) have already shot a film about Kolovrat at the Central Partnership studio, known for its scale and capabilities. When we were just about to shoot the Kolovrat saga, their project had already been launched. That happens. Simultaneous ideas arise in different minds and in different parts of the world. But my script was different, not directly related to the historical legend. We came up with the prehistory of Kolovrat ... but it didn't work out. "
The question of when the film "Kolovrat: The Road to Immortality" will be released, it seems, can be finally closed.

The director has already shot the film "Skif" (also a historical one) and, it seems, is satisfied with the current situation.
