Streaming service Netflix is developing its own TV version of the famous Japanese cyberpunk anime. A trailer for the 1st season of the series "Ghost in the Shell: Loner Syndrome 2045" / "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" (2020) has already appeared on the network, the plot of which is known, but the release date has not yet been set.

Plot
The events of the Netflix series unfold in 2045. When a massive economic crisis, dubbed the Synchronized Global Default, practically destroyed the world, artificial intelligence began to develop rapidly. After which humanity found itself in a state of the so-called Stable War.
In such conditions, former members of the 9th Division, one of the departments of the Japanese Interior Ministry, become mercenaries and travel along the destroyed US west coast. They will have to face an unknown and powerful threat - a kind of posthuman, significantly superior to cyborgs in all respects.
