The political position and worldview of many stars does not always coincide with public opinion. Many celebrities were especially acutely worried about the events that divided the fraternal peoples of Russia and Ukraine into two camps. We have compiled a photo-list of actors who left for Ukraine from Russia, and supported the Ukrainian position on political issues. In our list, readers will also be able to find domestic stars who left to live in a neighboring country for other reasons.
Anatoly Pashinin
- "Admiral", "We are from the future", "Thunderstorm gates"
Pashinin's homeland is Ukraine, and he is on the list of actors who went to Ukraine to fight. In Russia, he found himself only in his student years to complete a master's degree at a theater school. Despite his popularity among Russian viewers, Anatoly reacted sharply to the events taking place in Ukraine. He supported the coup taking place on the Maidan and everything that happened after the Maidan. In 2014, he shaved his own sedentary and went to fight on the side of the Ukrainian troops. Russian journalists claim that Anatoly does not have enough funds, and work in Ukrainian projects does not bring Pashinin a lot of money.
Victor Saraikin
- "Nine Lives of Nestor Makhno", "Liquidation", "Servant of the People"
Not all of the actors who left for Ukraine are Ukrainian by blood. For example, the small homeland of Viktor Saraikin is the Chelyabinsk region. The reason for Viktor's move is also not at all political - despite the fact that the actor received a distribution at the MDT on Malaya Bronnaya in 1995, he was not allowed to work there due to the fact that Saraikin did not have a Moscow residence permit. It was then that Victor and his wife decided to leave for Kiev to visit their relatives. There, without any problems, Saraikin got a place in the Kiev Lesya Ukrainka Theater.
Stanislav Sadalsky
- "Say a word about the poor hussar", "12 chairs", "Promised Heaven"
For many years Sadalsky has been famous for his harsh statements about the state structure and scandalous statements about his colleagues. At first, he actively supported the Georgian position during the conflict with Russia. Stanislav even planned to leave for Georgia for good and received Georgian citizenship. Later, he selflessly argued that he was a Ukrainian at heart, but he never became a Russian artist who left for Ukraine.
Maxim Vitorgan
- "Radio Day", "What Men Talk About", "Radio Day"
Another Russian actor who supported Ukraine was the ex-husband of Ksenia Sobchak. He is a well-known opposition leader for a long time, and since the events on the Maidan, he has publicly declared his position many times. Unlike his colleagues in the workshop, Maxim is not yet going to leave the country and continues to appear in Russian film projects and play in the theater.
Alexey Gorbunov
- "New Adventures of the Yankees at the Court of King Arthur", "The Countess de Monsoreau", "Birthday of Bourgeois"
Alexey Gorbunov concludes our photo-list of actors who left for Ukraine from Russia. Alexey is a native of Ukraine. He was born in Kiev and throughout his film career starred on both fronts, but still preferred Russian cinema. After the events in his homeland, he left Russia, and refuses to the proposals of Russian directors. He actively supports the Ukrainian troops and himself took part in hostilities. In addition, Gorbunov is broadcasting on one of the Ukrainian radio stations.
