Modern history leaves many moral, ethical and political questions open. Sometimes the answers to them may not please the citizens of any country. So, for example, there are actors and actresses who do not like Ukraine (the list and photos are attached) or do not agree with its policy of recent years in relation to Russia and Donbass. Let's see why the Ukrainians did not please them or why they themselves fell out of favor with this nation.
Mikhail Porechenkov
- "9th company", "Real dad", "Shadow", "Poddubny"
The actor and TV presenter not only spoke positively about the unrest in Donbass and condemned the actions of Ukraine, but also visited the disputed territories himself. In 2014, he brought his film Poddubny to Donetsk, where he officially presented it. Then the actor visited the hot spot - the airport, over which heavy battles were fought for several years and allowed himself a strange liberty there - firing a burst from a machine gun towards the Ukrainian positions. True, he later denied the seriousness of his behavior, claiming that the cartridges were blank, and the weapon was not directed at the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ivan Okhlobystin
- "Interns", "Wild League", "Bird", "Nightingale the Robber"
The famous Russian actor, film director and producer has repeatedly criticized Ukraine. Back in 2014, Okhlobystin said that he would never forgive the murder of his miner friend, who lived and worked in Donbass. The General Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine even opened criminal proceedings against him under the article "Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization." In response, the actor personally brought and presented his film "Priest-san" to Donetsk, expressed his support for the leadership of the unrecognized republic, and later in 2016 received a DPR passport.
Nikita Mikhalkov
- "Burnt by the Sun", "State Counselor", "Hideous Man's Man", "Burnt by the Sun 2"
People's Artist of the RSFSR, Russian film actor, film director, screenwriter and producer, who even has an Oscar for the best film in a foreign language in his track record, also spoke not in the most flattering way about Ukraine. Mikhalkov has repeatedly argued that the neighboring state is being used by the US government for its own purposes, and also accused the Ukrainians of inadequately repaying "for freedom and gas that they received from Russia." Despite the fact that the actor has always opposed the war, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine blacklisted him. To this the actor replied that he can only be proud if the "Bandera elite" considers him a threat.
Steven Seagal
- Under Siege, Shimmering, In the Name of Justice, Guardian
The American actor, screenwriter, film director and professional fighter has been on the black list of people who are against Ukraine in the issue of the reunification of Crimea with Russia for several years. In 2014, Segal accused the United States and Europe of propaganda aimed at discrediting the Russian Federation. Later, the actor added that an illegal coup had taken place in Ukraine and performed with his musical group in Crimea, stating that Sevastopol is a Russian city. For this he was blacklisted and banned from crossing the Ukrainian border. Sigal took the situation with humor, and in 2016 he received Russian citizenship.
Emir Kusturica
- "Underground", "Pelican", "On the Milky Way", "Balkan Frontier"
The Yugoslavian film director and film actor, who has won awards from renowned European film festivals, including two Palms from Cannes, has repeatedly stated that the coup in Ukraine was carried out with US support to bring NATO forces closer to Russia's borders. In his opinion, the country is repeating the path of the fragmented Yugoslavia, which also once aspired to Europe, but as a result fell apart. In 2015, he was banned from crossing the Ukrainian border. In 2017, Kusturica performed with his punk band in Crimea, after which he was blacklisted on the site "Peacemaker", where the data of Ukraine's enemies are posted.
Gerard Depardieu
- "Asterix and Obelix", "The Man in the Iron Mask", "My Wife's Lover", "Marseille"
The French theater, film and television actor who has appeared in more than 180 films is persona non grata in Ukraine. Back in 2013, Depardieu renounced French citizenship and moved to Russia, after which he spoke out in support of Vladimir Putin. In 2014, during the Baltic Pearl Film Festival, the actor said that Ukraine is part of Russia. These words were perceived extremely negatively in the Ukrainian community, after which he received a ban on entering the country. Depardieu himself has a negative attitude towards the war in Ukraine and believes that it must be ended as soon as possible.
Sergey Bezrukov
- "Brigade", "Yesenin", "Shadowboxing", "The Master and Margarita", "The Irony of Fate: Continuation"
The actors who do not support Ukraine include one of the most beloved Russian representatives of theater and cinema. Bezrukov not only supported the annexation of Crimea to Russia in 2014, but also criticized the Kiev authorities for pandering to fascism, sharply condemning the tragedy that occurred on May 2 in Odessa. According to the actor, in Ukraine they are trying to remake history, making heroes out of enemies. In 2017, he was accused of illegally crossing the state border and carrying out propaganda activities in Crimea. For this, Bezrukov was added to the infamous site "Peacemaker", making him persona non grata in the country. The actor himself said that for a long time he had not paid attention to which lists he was included in.
Leonid Yarmolnik
- "Heads and Tails", "Fathers and Sons", "Hipsters", "Ivan da Marya Detective Agency"
A popular theater, film and dubbing actor, producer and radio host, who spent his childhood in Ukraine, reacted sharply to the events of 2014 that accompanied the overthrow of the government in the country. He criticized the spread of the swastika, torchlight processions and the advancement of fascism. In addition, according to Yarmolnik, a person becomes richer from knowledge of different languages, therefore active Ukrainization does not lead to anything good. The actor believes that Eastern Ukraine and Crimea should be Russian, for which the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture has blacklisted him, stating that he poses a threat to national security.
Dmitry Kharatyan
- "Another life", "Supertech for a loser", "Aurora", "Joke"
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation has been on the list of enemies of Ukraine since 2017. According to the Ukrainian security service, he repeatedly illegally crossed the state border, visiting Crimea, so he must be included in the database of the site "Peacemaker" along with the terrorists. In addition, the actor supported the annexation of the Crimean Peninsula to Russia, which caused negative criticism from Ukraine. Despite this, Kharatyan never adhered to radical ideas. Moreover, he believes that in order to resolve the conflict, it is necessary to follow a peaceful path. For this, he proposed to invite Ukrainian filmmakers and actors to Evpatoria.
Irina Alferova
- "Ermak", "Three Musketeers", "Hero of Our Time", "Sonya Golden Hand", "Trap"
People's Artist of the Russian Federation publicly supported Russia in 2014 in the process of annexing Crimea. The actress praised Putin and said that it was impossible to replace the huge number of jubilant Crimeans with extras. Thus, she hinted at the Ukrainian media disseminating information that the inhabitants of the Crimean peninsula were forcibly forced to go to the polls. For this, she, like her colleagues, was included in the "black list", having received a ban on entry to Ukraine. Alferova herself was surprised at the absurdity of such a decision, describing it as "medieval".
Fedor Bondarchuk
- "State Councilor", "Company 9", "Inhabited Island", "Ghost"
The Russian actor and film producer many times spoke unflatteringly towards Ukraine, for which he was added to the database of the site "Peacemaker" back in 2017. According to Bondarchuk, there is no democracy in the country, and the “blood lawlessness” organized by the Ukrainian government is a “stone age”. The artist believes that the position of the Russian Federation in relation to Ukraine is correct, and also supports the annexation of Crimea. Despite this, Bondarchuk provided charitable assistance to Ukrainian veterans of the war in Afghanistan, and expressed the hope that fraternal relations between Ukrainians and Russians will someday be restored.
The presented list with photos of foreign and Russian actors and actresses who allegedly do not like Ukraine is rather a list of famous people who did not support this or that decision of the authorities of this country. None of them expressed contempt for the Ukrainian nation and its culture.
