The domestic series, which tells about an unknown virus that turned the capital into a city of the dead, has become one of the most anticipated TV projects of 2019. Now viewers hope to see season 2 of Epidemic (2020-2021), the release date, the actors and plot of which have not been announced, and the trailer has not yet been released.

Plot
In the near future, a mysterious virus is destroying the country's population. Only a small part of the inhabitants remains alive, among them is the main character Sergei, who lives with his girlfriend and her son outside the city, where it is more or less safe. However, he cannot leave his ex-wife and son, who remained in Moscow, so the hero goes to the capital and takes out his relatives from there, along the way, several more survivors join them. All of them go to Siberia, to an uninhabited island.
But, as it turned out, the remote house on the island is not a full-fledged refuge, because it attracted the attention of escaped prisoners and even the Chinese who came from nowhere. The continuation of the show will tell you more about these events, as well as whether the characters can get along with each other.

- The first season of the series is associated with a scandal. The first episodes of the TV project were shown to viewers, but then the show was taken off the air. All this is connected with the fifth episode of the 1st season, in which it was shown how government security forces shot civilians.
