The Alienist star Luke Evans will star in the 2020 detective series The Pembrokeshire Murders, a 2021 release date and trailer have yet to be announced, but the cast and storyline are already known. The show will tell the true story of serial killer John Cooper, convicted of double murders in the 80s. Detective chief Steve Wilkins decides to deal with two unsolved murder cases that took place in the 80s.
Plot
In the 80s of the 20th century, the town of Pembrokeshire is shocked by the worst murders that have never been solved. Already in 2006, detective Steve Wilkins takes on their investigation. Forensic techniques allowed Wilkins and his team to link these murders to a series of thefts during the same years, which allowed detectives to find new leads in their search for the killer.
