"Four Children and the Beast" is a family adventure film directed by the BAFTA award winner British director Andy de Emmony, based on the children's novel of the same name by Jacqueline Wilson. Plot
The main characters Alice and David have been together not so long ago. In the past, they experienced divorces and are now trying to build a life together. But the matter is complicated by children from previous marriages who do not want to get closer to new relatives. To somehow improve the relationship between the offspring, Alice and David decide to arrange a joint trip to nature.
During their stay in a country cottage, an amazing story happens with children. On the beach, they accidentally meet a magical creature named Psammides, who agrees to fulfill one of their wishes every day. The kids are having fun as they can, without thinking about the consequences.
At the same time, the local villain Tristan, having learned about the existence of Psammides, dreams of taking possession of it and using it for his own unseemly purposes. To repulse the attacker and protect their new friend, four guys join forces, forgetting all past feuds.
