About the plot
Early 20th century. On the eve of Christmas, the large landowner Nikolai, the politician, the countess, the general, and his wife gather in a large mansion in Transylvania for board games and gourmet snacks to discuss death, war, religion, history, technological progress and moral values. Over time, the debate is gaining momentum, becoming more serious and heated. From the discussions, one can hear criticism of Tolstoyism and Nietzscheism, philosophical dialogues about the fall of the European United States, led by the Antichrist.
