The Russian drama "Checkpoint" is based on the events that took place in 2014, when Crimea joined the Russian Federation. In the center of the narration is the real story of two servicemen of the Black Sea Fleet, Alexander Baranov and Maksim Odintsov, who were deceived by the Ukrainian special services in the fall of 2016 on the border with the Kherson region. Today the young people are already at home, but it was decided to film the story of their release. Plot
In October 2016, two friends, young Crimean servicemen, were captured by the SBU. There, the guys understand that there is always a choice, but they do not trade in honor and homeland.
