In 2022, the first Russian social fem-thriller "They" is released with the participation of Chulpan Khamatova, Ksenia Rappoport and Victoria Isakova. The film raises the theme of stalking and psychological violence against women, men-incels. The ideology of the Incels (radical male Internet group) is the inability to find a sexual partner, despite the desire to do so. They blame women themselves for their failures and, as a result, involuntary abstinence, while they demand legalization of rape and commit terrorist attacks around the world to attract attention. About the plot
This is the story of three successful women who have won the prestigious Person of the Year award in three categories: Actor of the Year, Athlete of the Year and Philanthropist of the Year. But the award will bring the heroines, in addition to recognition and honor, many problems. As soon as the prize statuettes take pride of place in their home, women receive an anonymous message from a certain man with the nickname of Sabaoth, demanding to tell the whole truth about themselves. As it turned out, each of them hides a whole collection of skeletons in a closet.
