About the plot
The series is based on the real life of Steve Bonnet, who lived in the 18th century and is known as "The Pirate Gentleman" because he went from a comfortable, bourgeois, aristocratic life to a life full of criminal adventures on the high seas. Bonnet was born into a noble family during the Enlightenment and abandoned his wealthy lifestyle to take up piracy. As a pirate, he sailed the East Coast in his sailing ship Revenge, capturing and burning enemy ships. Bonnet's life will now be translated into a comedy show.
