In the 80s of the last century, he was twice recognized as the best actor by the magazine "Soviet Screen". Learn about the actor Alexander Mikhailov: about his biography, family, children, career and personal life, look at the latest photos.
Biography
Few know, but the real name of the actor is Baranov. At the age of 14, the artist decided to take his mother's maiden name. He was born in the Chita region, in the village of Olovyannaya, on October 5, 1944. It is interesting that one of Alexander's grandfathers was a White Guard, and the second was an officer of the Red Army, which did not prevent them from being friends and loving their homeland. Mikhailov's childhood years were spent in Buryatia. The family lived very poorly - in the house where they lived, there was not even electricity, and the elder sister of the actor Albina died of hunger.
His parents divorced, and the mother, despite the heavy workload, tried to devote any free minute to her son. When the boy expressed a desire to become a sailor, she without hesitation moved with him to Vladivostok.
Alexander tried several times to enter the Nakhimov School, but all attempts ended in failure. As a result, Mikhailov studied at a vocational school, after which he was hired as a sailor on the Yaroslavl fishing diesel engine. The future actor went sailing to the Sea of Okhotsk, the Sea of Japan and even to the Pacific Ocean. Mikhailova's mother understood all the dangers of a sailor's life and persuaded her son to find a profession for himself "on the ground."
Creative way
At some point, Alexander succumbed to persuasion and decided to change the seas and oceans to the stage - he entered the Far Eastern Pedagogical Institute at the acting department. At first, Mikhailov played at the Saratov Drama Theater, and since 1979 at the Moscow Theater. M.N. Ermolova. Mikhailov's film debut took place in 1973 - he was invited to play in Fyodor Filippov's film This Is Stronger Than Me.
After that, they paid attention to the young courageous actor and began to invite strong men with quivering hearts to the roles. Alexander's filmography includes more than 90 films, the last of which (mini-series "One Hundred Days of Freedom") was released in 2017.
The actor does not hide that "Love and Doves" is the most important and favorite work in his career, even though he almost drowned while filming.
Personal life
Mikhailov met his first wife during his student years. Vera Musatova also studied at the Far Eastern Pedagogical Institute, but at the music department. Despite the fact that Alexander's mother did not accept her daughter-in-law, their marriage lasted thirty years. In 1969, the couple had a son, Konstantin, who linked his life with television and works as a TV presenter.
Mikhailov could not be called an exemplary family man - the wife repeatedly accused her husband of treason, but hoped that over time Alexander would settle down. Vera even managed to accept the fact that in 1991 he had an illegitimate daughter, Anastasia.
However, in 2003 Mikhailov decided to leave the family. He realized that he could no longer live without his theater colleague and the former wife of his late friend Oksana Vasilyeva.
Alexander adopted her child from her first marriage, and even before the official wedding of the actors, in 2002 Vasilyeva and Mikhailov had a daughter, Miroslav. The eldest son could not forgive his father for a long time that he left his mother, and did not even talk to him for 10 years. Over time, Konstantin was still able to accept his father's new wife and even communicates with his half-sister.
In recent years, Alexander Mikhailov practically does not act in films. He admits that he does not want to take part in low-standard projects, and, in his opinion, they practically do not shoot really worthy pictures. The actor teaches at VGIK, continues to play in the theater and says that he could not fall in love with Moscow - with age, he increasingly wants to go to the taiga and enjoy its beauty.
